Holiday Essentials!

I guess you could say Summer is pretty much over, with schools and colleges going back the Autumn term begins and the trees changing their colours. But for me? I'm still holding on to two more weeks of sunshine and beach days In Italy where I'll be flying to tomorrow *screeches with excitement* So I figured it would be perfect to show you the things I'll be taking away with me.

Everything here is going in my hand luggage can just about fit it all in one bag! I've got my two toiletry bags, one is for my basic beauty products and then the bigger one is just for the extra toiletry things you usually bring with you when you go away. I then prefer carrying a small bag around with me especially when I'm on long days out and exploring places I'd rather not carry around a huge bag on my shoulders. This cute black and studded bag is perfect for carrying the main every day essentials.
I'm currently reading 'Fangirl' although I've started reading it but have stopped myself so I can save the rest for while I'm away haha! I'm sure I'll find a lot of time to relax and do a bit of colouring in my new colouring book, takes me back to my younger days! I'm really excited to take away my DSLR with me it'll be fun to play around in a new change of scenery! I also bought myself a disposable camera as you may have read in my last post (also takes me back to my childhood)
Then of course gotta take the Ipod, phone and sunnies!

Toiletry Bag
S&G hand gel (Smells amazing!)
Travel sized tangle teaser
Brilliant Brunette Shampoo
Travel Sized Dry Shampoo
Protect & Shine hair spray
Dove Deodorant Pomegranate
Floss
Threw the eye shadow in there because it's a little too big for the smaller bag!

Nail Polish remover
Baby Lips
Lasting Perfection Collection concealer
Revlon lip stick
Lip balm (apple package)
Instead of foundation I decided to take some BB cream instead because it's much lighter on your skin.

Hope your all having a good week! There may not be any blog posts for two weeks or so because I'd like to stay away from the internet as much as I can (watch that fail) haha but I just wanted to focus on the holiday and try and take myself away from everything for a little while and just have a nice long break. May do a few update posts while I'm there, we'll see!
But until next time, I'll be back soon!

I went 'holiday' shopping!

I had planned to do a little bit of last minute 'holiday' shopping because I needed to get a few more bits before I go away at the weekend. Having said that I ended up coming home with a little bit more than I had planned to come home with and to be honest a lot of it isn't very 'holidayish' but thought it would be a perfect excuse to show you what I had got right?

Home Sense
I can actually see my own future home being mostly of things made up from Home Sense. I just love how pretty much everything is 'one of a kind' and I always have a lot of fun exploring in there. I didn't really need another toilet bag but I really loved the patterns and the colours and it also comes with two other bags. I also noticed this Cupcake tin which was super cute though I think it'll be something I'll use in my bed room rather than the kitchen.

H&M

I was hoping to find a few more summer pieces in H&M but think I'm a little bit too late! But instead I found these cosy jumpers.

These shoes really stood out to me, they're a lot different to what I would usually go for but there's something about them that really caught my eye. They're sort of that plasticy material but actually a lot more comfier than I expected.

Boots

When I was younger I remember getting really excited about going holiday shopping because my mum had always promised to get me a disposable camera. With everything being so technical and digital now these sort of things are slowly being forgotten about. But I wanted to start using them more again and thought holiday would be a perfect place to start. I always used to get excited seeing how the photo's had turned out (most of which didn't turn out so well) but I love the idea of having actual photographs that you can keep in albums.
I also needed to get my beloved concealer from Collection. I then picked up this eye brow kit also from Collection which I've been hearing a few things about (:

Colouring books seem to be a bit of a thing right now and these were one of my favourite thing as a child. I picked these two up, I didn't realise how much choice you could get I spent a little while deciding between a few haha.

It also has quotes on each page which is a unique thing about this one, definitely gives a little more inspiration while your colouring.

Hope your all having a good week, I'm back to work soon after having 4 days off. But I'll be going on holiday on Monday so it's all good!
Till next time...

These are a few of my favourite things...

It's been a little while since I've shared some favourites with you so here's what I have been loving lately.

Revolution Eye Pallet
I've previously mentioned this before in a post but this product has turned out to be probably the best eye shadow pallet I've ever used. The colours are gorgeous and this is something I have been using pretty much every day since I purchased it.

BB Cream
I'm still quite new with the whole 'BB cream' products so I firstly thought it would make sense to go for one that wasn't too expensive, I came across this Rimmel one a short while ago and have been loving it. Sometimes it's nice to go through days without having to wear any foundation or any make up at all and if you want to go for the more 'natural' just have something that doesn't feel to heavey on your skin I feel like this is perfect for that.

*Stupidly forgets the name of this product!*
This was actually a very last minute buy, you know when your standing in a long queue and they have those boxes with fun little things inside them that you end up looking through out of bordem? I could not be more happy that I ended up buying this because If you have a dog or a pet with white fur you'll know how that fur gets literally EVERYWHERE. I'm thankful for whoever invented these because it now means that I don't have to go out with dog hair all over me!

Instagram Favourites -
HumansofNY
I absolutely love the whole idea of this account. If you haven't heard of it before its share's people from New York's stories and things they have been or currently going through. It's really eye opening and it just reminds me that every single person you meet or pass every single day are going through something we may know nothing about. That's why I think it's so important to just be kind or at least respectful to one another. This world is full of strong and brave people and that's what this account shows and that's what I love about it!

Ihavethisthingwithfloors
Yes it's an account dedicated to floors, but not just any floors really pretty floors in all different shapes and colours, so creative!

I did a 'little' bit of shopping...

Hey all!
Yep, I've done a 'bit' of shopping lately although I have to say this wasn't all in one go! So here's a haul for ya.

H&M

I've been wanting a jacket for a long time but haven't found one that I felt like was worth buying but I came across this beautiful white one in H&M. I'm going on holiday pretty soon and thought it would be perfect to go out in the evenings when we have dinner and smarten things up a bit. But I also thought it would be perfect to wear casually too during the day.
I absolutely love these shorts, the material of them just feels so soft. They may actually be a bit too warm for summer because even though it's not hugely thick material it's still quite woolly but to be perfectly honest I think you can get away with wearing these in the summer. Especially in England when It may be a warm day but it's still cloudy or chilly in the evenings.

I absolutely love the pattern on these crop tops. Now I don't usually wear crop tops, in fact I never wear them simply because I feel a bit insecure. But this one only shows a tiny bit of your skin and I absolutely loved the patterns and colours.
Lastly I noticed this black and white strappy top with flower prints on them and loved it.

Primark

Being a bit of an obsessive 'Friends' fan I am just a little bit too proud of this top I bought from Primark. They had a couple of choices of Friends tshirts but preferred this one. I usually wear it to lounge around in or sleep in, just love it a lot!
I thought this Ice cream top was pretty cute, especially for someone who loves ice cream.

I've just noticed these look really creased for some reason and I haven't worne some of these yet haha. I needed some shorts and I always find denim shorts way too short now and I just wanted ot find some normal length ones, I loved the pattern on these and blue is my favourite colour so it's perfect for me. I also thought the 'Life is Beautiful' was cute.

Boots

I've used the body spray and the body scrub from Soap & Glory a couple of times and I can't recommend them enough, lovely smelling products and the scrub feels great on your skin, especially knowing it has sea salt in leaves your skin feeling really fresh,
I haven't used this Hand Food hand cream before but I wanted to try some different products from S&G and I love trying out the little travelling sized products because at least that way If I don't like it I won't be wasting a lot.

My beloved Collection concealer's and eye liner which I just use constantly. The eye liner lasts a really long time considering I use it most days and considering it's a small pot too,
I have also used this blush pallet before and loved it, although I dropped it and the whole thing smashed and made a not so fun mess everywhere, so had to go and get myself another one.

Lastly I saw this eye shadow pencil and thought it was a really pretty colour and perfect for this time of year.
And I'll finish up there because this post is getting super long and I applaud you if you read it till the end!

Until next time...

Things that I have been loving

Stripy Top - H&M
I do love me some black and white stripy tops especially stripy ones! It always makes me feel a bit 'French' because to me it's like a classic French style. I also think the gold buttons on the side add a really cute touch to it and also makes it look a bit smarter. But I think with this top it's something that you can either wear with a casual look or you can definitely smarten it up!

Shorts - Forever 21
I was debating whether to buy these shorts or not but I didn't want them to be left in the shop with no new home to go to so I decided they should belong to me, ha. I probably wouldn't wear the top and the shorts together maybe a bit too much? but the shorts would look great with a plane/simple top. The material is a little bit more thicker than usual so this is definitely something you can wear in the winter as well as something for the summer.

Sunglasses - Primark
£2 for sunglasses? sounds good to me! Me personally, I often have trouble finding sun glasses that actually look good on me, these don't look much better than any others I find but they're smaller which is what appealed to me I actually like the design too! I have an annoyingly small face and usually most sunglasses look too big on me and I end up looking like a fly. But I have to say I do love these!

Purse - Primark
I wanted to get a bigger purse because all my small ones never fit all my lose change so I thought a bigger purse would be easier, I love the colour too!

Tangle Teaser -
Long story short, I'm just glad these were invented!

Collection concealer & Collection Eyeliner
Both of these products have been a long term love of mine, have used these over and over again.

Apple Lip balms - Primark
I have never tried any of Primark's beauty/make up products before so as I went past that section the other week I thought I would have a little nose around and noticed these super cute lip balms. I've used them every day since I purchased them. I haven't actually used the 'apple' flavour yet but I can imagine it smelling so good, this cherry flavoured one defintely smells amazing. My lips have been feeling so soft lately because of these.

Watch - Primark
I swear this post isn't sponsored by Primark, I just went a bit mad in there not so long ago. I've been looking for a gold watch for quite some time, and I just love the design. £2.50 for a watch, not bad eh?

Lastly I've been loving this creamy eye shadow I purchased a while ago, It's a perfect colour for this time of year!

I think I better stop there because I can see this post getting long. Hope you've all had a good week, I'm sadly working over the weekend. What things have you been loving lately?

London haul part 1

Hey all!
I went into london for a little while today and did a little shopping in Oxford street, actually I say a 'little' it was probably a bit more than what you would call little I blame Primark! I thought I would do the hauls in two separate blog posts because I didn't want this to end up being one huge post that you'd be falling asleep half way through reading. So even though I didn't buy a huge amount in Superdrug but thought I would go ahead and show you all what I bought anyway!

Revolution Eye Pallet
I had actually been hearing and reading quite a few things about this pallet and I thought they looked so beautiful, every single pallet Superdrug sold were such gorgeous colours but I tend to stick with the nudes and the natural colours so this was perfect for me. I didn't expect it to be as cheap as it was either, I have yet to try it but hoping it's as good as it looks!

Real Technique Brushes
I debated for a short while in the shop whether to get a whole set of brushes or just pick them out separately (How do you buy your brushes?) I have a few real techqniue brushes and loved them so because I was familiar with the brand I wanted to get ones that I haven't yet purchased. Although I would love to try some new brushes so if you have any recommendations I would love to hear them!

Zoella's Fiz Bar
I haven't actually tried any of Zoe's products before but have been meaning to buy some, As you may or may not know I do love my baths so it was obvious for me which product I wanted to try first. I also love the fact that it says 'Do not eat' on it, and no I haven't tried eating it (:

And that's pretty much what I got from Superdrug, oh apart from some sugar free gum. There's a nice short and sweet haul post for ya, but if you like haul posts keep an eye out for part 2 where I purchased some things from Primark and Forever 21.

Have you tried any of these products? If there's anything you recommend me trying from Superdrug next time I go please let me know.

I've also got a question that's completely un related to this post but can't find a way to solve this problem. My profile picture comes out blury every time I change it to a profile picture, the original is a pefectly normal picture and not blury anyone know how to make it clear?

Favourite Simple Products

'Simple' has been a new obsession of mine lately and have tried various products and so far have loved them all. There's many yet for me to try but just in case your new to Simple or are looking for something to purchase here are some of my favourites that I've tried.

One thing that I love about Simple is that although the products are made to do different jobs they all have one thing in common which is that they leave my skin feeling so incredibly fresh, clean and soft!
To be honest I never had the best skin care routine, I admit I am pretty lazy with that but had enough of my skin feeling dry and breaking out or getting those horrible black heads. No one wants spots eh? I mean of course I washed my face but that was pretty much it. After seeing so many reviews about particular Simple products I wanted to try them out myself. So over the past couple months have tried a few products and thought it was time to share what I loved about them with you.

My most recent purchase is the Kind to skin vital vitamin foaming cleanser which I have to say is probably my top favourite of the ones that I've tried. It's something that I'm using every morning and most nights, you don't need to squirt out a lot just pump it a couple of times and massage it onto wet skin and wash it off. The first time I did it I literally kept touching my face (without that sounding creepy or weird!) but It was just so soft and felt so clean, smooth as a babies bottom as they say!
I also feel like this would be amazing to use when your away on holiday somewhere hot and sunny, I can imagine the freshness that you'd feel after using it when you've been sweltering in the sun.

Next up is the Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm. My eyes are pretty sensitive and when they're tired they can become irritable. sore and itchy which then makes them dry. This was only around £3 or so I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) so it's not amazing! But It's definitely worth that affordable amount of money. I feel that it definitely hydrates my eyes and makes them feel a bit more awake.

This was something I picked up quite a while back and sort of forgot I had it but sticking to my taking care of my skin routine I figured that I'd start using it again. With it's Vitamins of Pro - Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E definitely leaves my skin feeling moisturised and soft.

Lastly I've been hearing about this Eye make up remover everywhere so I couldn't not try it. I can see what the fuss is about, this has probably turned into one of my favourite make up removers. I actually use it on my face too.

What do you think of Simple products? Let me know if there's any others I should try.

Boots Haul!

Hey all!
I am currently in the process of updating and replacing Items in my make up bag. It's all getting a bit old and tatty now and most of my make up that I have are running out and it felt like time to go and purchase a whole new bunch of stuff! So a shopping trip to Boots was a must and along the way I picked up a few other products that I wasn't intentionally getting but just thought they would be nice to add to my collection.

You may notice that I went on a little 'Simple' shopping spree. There was one particular product that I was very interested in getting because I had heard many great things about it and that was the 'eye make up remover, after hearing great reviews about Simple make up remover products I wanted to pick one up myself. I'm very bad at remembering prices but I'm pretty sure these were all under £5 and mostly around £3 or so, so very affordable!

I then noticed the 'Simple eye balm' my eyes get tired a lot of the time and when they're tired they tend to get dry and some times a little itchy and irritable so I saw this and it's meant to just hydrate your eyes and make them feel that little bit more awake.

I needed to get some new face wipes so seeing as I was having a look through the Simple section I thought I would grab those.

I have a new found love for Soap & Glory. I purchased this spray quite a long while ago and then ran out and just have been meaning to get some more. I really do recommend this if your looking for a new spray, It has a perfect spring/summer scent to it.

I've been eyeing up this Barry M eye shadow pallet for quite some time so finally picked it up, the colours are beautiful and I actually think this is something you can wear all year round with all seasons especially for autumn with it's darker shades! I also love Barry M products a lot!

Collection - Water proof eye liner
I've been using this eye liner for a long time and I wanted to try and start wearing water proof make up again, I haven't worn it in a long while because the last time I wore water proof make up my eyes didn't react well to it but I wanted to be brave and try it again and see if anything has changed because after all water proof make up is so much better than non water proof eh?

I think this blush/highlighter set is just beautiful, I had also seen this on other people's reviews and loved what I saw so felt like I needed to go and get one myself.

I wanted to get a new make up bag and I wanted to get one which wasn't as big as my last one. For me this is a perfect size, not too big but not too small and I absolutely love pink and black together. £10 for this wasn't too bad at all!

I have yet to get a few other products for my make up bag to feel 'complete' but I'm excited to try out every thing that I've got so far.
Have you tried any of the products that I bought? I would love to know what you think of them if you have.

I also went to a few cloth shops and came back with some clothing Items which I am in love with! So keep an eye out for a clothing haul soon! Hope your having a good week.

March Favourites.

There's been quite a few things that I've newly discovered this month and wanted to share them
with you because I absolutely love them!

Soap & Glory Bubble Bath
This is one I've spoken about in a previous post. I had never actually tried anything from Soap & Glory before so I picked up this bubble bath because I absolutely love baths! And I'm just pretty happy that I picked this one up because it smelt amazing and definitely made the bath very relaxing! I would love to try some other products from Soap & Glory so if you have any recommendations please let me know and I'll go and try them out.

Baby Lip Balms
These are things I'm starting to sort of collect now, I just think they're super cute and really handy to carry around with you every day. So easy to apply and so useful to have if you sometimes get dry lips like I do, and they'r perfect for things like work because they don't bring too much colour to your lips but they bring a nice shine and makes your lips feel nice and moisturised and soft!

Rimmel Match Foundation
This is a product that I have been using for quite a long time now, definitely my favourite foundation that I've tried! Becuase I have pale skin it can be quite hard to find colours that match my skin colour. So if you have pale skin like myself I really recommend '101 classic Ivory' for you.

Benefit Eyebrow filler
This is a new discovered product for me, and again a first purchase of mine from 'Benefit'. I was just looking around the Benefit stand when one of the assistants who worked with Benefit started chatting to me about this eye brow product and she was actually really helpful even though I wasn't looking to buy anything she recommended this to me and I thought why not give it a go? My sister has also used this product before so I was familiar with it. It's a small product but she told me that it lasted her about 8 months even when she used it every day! It shapes your eye brows really well and defintely something I recommend. It is a little pricer to what I usually spend on make up Items but for me I'd say it was worth it.

Lasting Collection Concealer
This is also something that I have been using for a long time now, I'd say it's one of my top favourite all time make up products. I often get really bad dark circles under my eyes and this consealer is like my best friend. It just makes you look more awake and lasts a long time. I go through quite a lot of these.

Kate Lip colour
This is just something that caught my eye when I was out shopping one time and I tend to go for the 'nude' colours on my lips just because that's something I feel comfortable with and that I love.

I am so in love with this bag I recently purchased from H&M. There was a bright yellow version of this bag which I'd like to go back and see if they still have because it was such a pretty colour. Though I thought White would go more with what I wear, and I think It's perfect for spring/summer. I believe this was around £5.99 so a pretty good bargain if you ask me, especially for H&M!

Music
I've been loving so many artists this month! So many new albums have come out and I can't stop listening to them, but here's my top three that has recently been released.

Kelly Clarkson

I've always loved Kelly Clarkson and I think this album has to be my favourite that she's ever done. Just go listen to it! :)

The Veronica's

I was really happy when I heard they were bringing out a new album because I've always loved their music, it's always really catchy!

James Bay

So In love with him and his music so talented! I've only recently discovered his music but so glad that I did because I can't actually stop playing his new album.

What have been your favourites recently?

Make up Storage

I don't know about you but sometimes I don't have enough patience to rummage around the many make up Items that I have in my make up bag, sometimes I feel like the bag is a lucky dip and whatever comes out comes out. I recently got this make little make up storage as a gift for my birthday and so decided to put the products that I am most likely to use in it (Minus my foundation and concealer because they simply don't fit) I guess that's the only down side to this storage because it's pretty small, but it's cute and perfect for putting your absolute essentials in it.
Because it's now spring time I've put all the make up that I know I will get the most use out of during this season inside.

I'm pretty useless when it comes to remembering names of some products, the names are on the bottom of the Items but it's seemed to have rubbed off and is no longer readable. But these are all from Boots and quite recent purchases so It shouldn't be too hard to recognise if your inerested in buying any.

I really love these 'lasting finish Colour rush pencils, the first one I ever purchased was the one on the right (as you can probably tell!) But it's a really pretty natural colour which is exactly what I usually go for.
The one on the left which is a much more brighter colour isn't something that I often pick up to buy, I always love the bright colours but honestly just have never been brave enough to wear them because I personally don't think I can pull them off. But I thought I would give it a go and although I don't think it's something I would wear all the time It's perfect for summer and it is definitely a really pretty colour!

You may know about my love for 'Barry M' and 'Essie' Nail varnishes. I absoultey adore these colours and think they're perect for spring/summer.

I've been collecting these cute baby lip balms lately, just love them! They are great for if you annoyingly get dry lips like myself sometimes, but they're also just great to keep in your hand bag all day.

I'm hoping to eventually get something bigger than this that'll help me be a bit more organised with my make up but for now It's useful! And it goes so well with the rest of the things I keep on top of my draws.

Lovely Lush!

As you know I recently went shopping, I was going to include this in my last haul post but didn't want to make that post too long and thought because 'lush' sells such lovely products I thought it deserved to have it's own post :)

Immaculate Eggception Yellow Bath Bomb

Seeing as Easter is on it's way I absolutely love all the celebration theme products that lush sell. I noticed this egg which I thought was really cute! Place it in a bath like a regular bath bomb and it will turn your water yellow and eventually break into pieces.

Granny Takes A Dip - Bath Bomb

I have actually used this one before and it has become one of my favourite products from lush, each one is different and leaves different patterns in your bath. I love watching it turn your water into different bright colours like a rainbow.

Lonely heart - Bath Melt

This one was the first one that stood out to me and it also smells amazing even though it doesn't have the strongest scent. I thought it would end up leaving my bath full of glitter which It didn't but it wasn't a disappointment at all. At first it turned the water into sort of a soft pinky/red colour and eventually turned my bath into a beautiful bright red neon colour.

Secret Garden Green Bath Bomb

The colours really appealed to me on this bath bomb, a green bath might not seem appealing to some people but it was different and cute and hey I liked it!

And that's it! It wasn't much of a 'shopping spree' in lush but I loved the things that I came home with. Do you have any favourite products from lush? Is there any you would recommend that I could try? :)

I went shopping!

Hey all! Hows it going?
I recently did a bit of shopping and came back with a few things so of course it's a perfect excuse to do a haul post. It wasn't a huge shopping trip I only ended up purchasing a few things from Boots and H&M but haven't done a haul in a little while!

I cannot go shopping and not go into H&M It is my all time favourite shop and they always do things that I love in there. Anyhow I only came back buying two Items in there one of reasons which is because I'm trying not to spend a lot at the moment and another is that they are actually re doing the shop, normally It's a pretty great H&M and sell a lot of things but It's only on one floor at the moment and have cut down selling a lot.
The first thing which caught my eye was this light pink jersey top with birds on, I usually go for simple/plain things and rarely pick Items with patterns on but recently I've been loving things with patterns and I really liked this and it was only £7.99 which is a pretty good bargin I think!

You can find the Jersey top here, http://www.hm.com/gb/product/87540?article=87540-D

I then noticed this cute body bag in the accessories section and absolutely love it! I was deciding between a yellow one or this white one, I thought the white one would pretty much go with anything. Although I think I may go back and get the yellow one because it was such a pretty colour and it would have been an amazing colour to wear In the summer. Not that I needed another bag but couldn't walk away from it! If I remember rightly I think this was around £5.99.

I then went into Boots because my make up bag needed some serious updating and replacing. So over the weeks I have been buying quite a few new make up/beauty products.

I really really didn't need any more nail poslishes but I just loved these colours, I seem to be really loving pink nail polishes at the moment especially since spring has quickly arrived!
I then also wasn't meaning to buy anything for my brows but I was taking a look at the 'Benefit' section which honestly I have never really tried before. And then got talking to one of the girls who worked on the Benefit counter and she was really helpful talking about this 'Benefit' eyebrow product and she basically just really recommended it to me so I thought why not give it a go? It was a little pricier to make up Items that I usually buy but I wanted to test it out myself, my sister had also been going on about this particular Item.

'Collection' is one of my favourite brands, If not my favourite. I cannot express how much I love their concealers and eye liners. I definitely needed some new eye shadow's and just thought these were some really pretty colours and perfect for spring with the light pinks and purples!
